Wisdom Techno Solutions is a member of the Schneider Electric Alliance Partner Program for system integrators, working from Vadodara, Gujarat. We supply Schneider Electric automation products — Modicon PLCs, Harmony HMIs, Altivar drives and Altistart soft starters — and engineer them into complete solutions: control panels built in our own works, PLC and HMI programs, SCADA systems developed in-house, and site commissioning. The partner region is Vadodara and Gujarat; solutions and panels go to plants across India.
Two ways to work with us: send a part number and we supply the product, or send the application — a motor list, an I/O list, a process description — and we select, engineer, build and commission the system. Prices and stock are confirmed per enquiry, not published.
What We Do on Schneider Electric Platforms
- Product supply by part number — Modicon PLCs and I/O, Harmony HMIs, Altivar drives, Altistart soft starters and accessories, with the exact catalogue reference confirmed before the order.
- Selection and sizing — PLC and I/O architecture from your I/O list; drive and soft starter sizing from motor kW, duty, load type and supply.
- Control panels — PLC panels, VFD and soft starter panels, MCC and IMCC lineups built and routine-tested in our Vadodara works (PLC panels, VFD & soft starter panels, IMCC panels).
- Programming — PLC logic, HMI screens and drive parameter sets, developed in-house and tested before dispatch.
- SCADA development — screens, tag databases, alarms, trends and reports developed in-house by our automation team.
- Migration and retrofit — moving legacy Modicon, Altivar and Citect installations onto current Schneider ranges with minimum shutdown.
- Commissioning and support — site I/O checks, loop testing, drive tuning and handover documentation.
Modicon PLC & PAC Range We Supply and Program
Schneider Electric splits its controllers into machine-level PLCs, programmed in EcoStruxure Machine Expert, and process-level PACs, programmed in EcoStruxure Control Expert (formerly Unity Pro). Choosing the right family is the first engineering decision on any project.
| Range | Positioning | Typical use |
|---|---|---|
| Modicon M221 | Compact PLC for hardwired architectures; 16–40 built-in I/O, TM3 expansion | Small machines, pumps, standalone skids; Twido replacement |
| Modicon M241 | Performance PLC; Ethernet, CANopen on selected models | Packaging, speed and position control |
| Modicon M251 | Modular, distributed PLC; dual-port Ethernet | Distributed machine control across stations |
| Modicon M262 | Logic and motion controller for performance machines; synchronised axes | High-speed machines, IIoT-ready lines |
| Modicon M340 | Mid-range PAC for process and infrastructure | Water and wastewater, utilities, process units |
| Modicon M580 | Ethernet PAC with Hot Standby and integrated safety options | Process plants, high-availability and safety-related control |
| Modicon X80 I/O | Common I/O platform for M580 and M340 | Local and remote I/O drops |
For an M221 versus M241 decision the deciding questions are I/O count, communication and whether the machine needs motion; for M340 versus M580 they are redundancy, Ethernet I/O architecture and safety. Our engineers make this call from your I/O list and process description — see the PLC panel page for how we build and test the panel around the controller.
Harmony HMI
Harmony is the current name of the range formerly sold as Magelis. We select and program HMIs across the range — Harmony ST6 basic touch panels, STO/STU compact panels, GTO general-purpose panels, GTU modular high-performance panels, GTUX rugged panels for harsh areas, and Harmony P6 industrial PCs for edge and SCADA client duty. Screens are developed in EcoStruxure Operator Terminal Expert or Vijeo Designer, depending on the model.
SCADA Development — In-House
Our automation team develops SCADA systems in-house: tag databases, process graphics, alarm philosophy, trends, shift and energy reports, user security and PLC communication. On the Schneider Electric portfolio, SCADA is delivered on AVEVA Plant SCADA (the product formerly called Citect SCADA — AVEVA is part of Schneider Electric), EcoStruxure Machine SCADA Expert for machine and line-level visualisation, and EcoStruxure Geo SCADA Expert for telemetry across distributed sites such as pumping stations.
A SCADA scope is only as good as its definition. Before we quote, we fix the tag count, number of screens, alarm list, report formats, redundancy (single or hot-standby servers), client licences and the communication drivers to each PLC — so the offer you compare is complete.
Altivar Drives Range
| Range | Positioning | Typical use |
|---|---|---|
| Altivar 12 | Compact drive, 0.18–4 kW | Small machines, conveyors, fans |
| Easy Altivar 310 | Basic industrial drive, 0.37–30 kW | General-purpose machines |
| Altivar Machine ATV320 | Machine drive with built-in safety and logic, 0.18–22 kW | OEM machines, packaging, material handling |
| Altivar Machine ATV340 | Heavy-duty / closed-loop machine drive, 0.75–75 kW | Hoisting, high-dynamics machines |
| Altivar 212 | HVAC drive, 0.75–75 kW | Building fans and pumps |
| Altivar Process ATV600 (ATV630, ATV650, ATV660, ATV680) | Process drive for fluids; wall, IP55, enclosed and low-harmonic AFE systems | Pumps, fans, compressors |
| Altivar Process ATV900 (ATV930, ATV950, ATV960, ATV980) | Process drive for demanding loads; braking, IP55, enclosed and regenerative systems | Conveyors, cranes, hoisting, mills |
ATV320 versus ATV340 is a machine question — the ATV340 adds higher power and closed-loop performance. ATV600 versus ATV900 is an application question — the ATV600 is built around pumps and fans, the ATV900 around conveyors, cranes and heavy-duty loads. Drive panels are engineered with line chokes, dV/dt or sine filters where cable length and harmonics demand them — our guide to VFD harmonics and filter selection explains the logic.
Altistart & Altivar Soft Starters
For motors that need a controlled start but no speed control, we supply and panel-mount Schneider soft starters: Altistart 01 for simple machines, Altistart 22 for industrial and infrastructure duty, and the Altivar Soft Starter ATS480 and ATS490 for process and infrastructure applications. The ATS480 is Schneider's upgrade path for the discontinued Altistart 48. Not sure which you need? Read soft starter vs VFD.
Migration & Upgrade Paths
Much of our Schneider work is replacing what is already installed. These are the migration paths Schneider Electric itself documents, and the ones we plan and execute:
| Installed (legacy) | Current range | What we handle |
|---|---|---|
| Altivar 61 | Altivar Process ATV600 (ATV630 / ATV650) | Drive selection, parameter transfer, panel modification or new panel |
| Altivar 71 | Altivar Process ATV900 (ATV930) | Same as above; braking and encoder options re-checked |
| Altistart 48 | Altivar Soft Starter ATS480 | Sizing, mounting and control-wiring changes |
| Modicon Quantum / Premium | Modicon M580 (or M340) | Program conversion in Control Expert, I/O re-wiring plan, phased cutover |
| Twido | Modicon M221 | Application conversion in Machine Expert – Basic, wiring check |
| Magelis HMI | Harmony HMI | Screen migration and re-commissioning |
| Citect / Vijeo Citect SCADA | AVEVA Plant SCADA | Project upgrade, driver and licence review, OS compatibility |
A migration is planned around your shutdown window: we survey the installed system, convert and test the program off-site, and cut over in the agreed outage. Where the panel itself is sound, a retrofit is often cheaper than replacement — see electrical retrofitting and upgrades.
Supply by Part Number
If you already have the catalogue reference — for example a TM221CE16R controller, an ATV320 or ATV630 drive, or an ATS480 soft starter — send it with the quantity and delivery location. We confirm the exact reference, availability and delivery with the quotation. If the reference is for a discontinued product, we tell you the current equivalent and what changes on installation before you order.
