Wisdom Techno Solutions manufactures the complete solar balance-of-system (BOS) electrical package in Gujarat — solar ACDBs, DCDBs, AC combiner boxes, array junction boxes and NVR panels — at the same Vadodara works that builds IEC 61439 LT switchboards, so solar distribution boards get switchgear-grade engineering rather than sheet-metal-shop assembly.

What is the solar BOS electrical package?
Everything electrical between the PV strings and the grid connection that is not the module or the inverter: array junction boxes on the DC side, DC distribution boards, AC combiner boxes collecting inverter outputs, and the ACDB feeding the metering and grid interface.
On the DC side, string cables land in the array junction box (AJB) and are grouped through the DC distribution board. On the AC side, inverter outputs are collected in the AC combiner box and distributed through the solar ACDB and AC distribution board.
Ordering all of these from one manufacturer means one engineering contact, matched enclosure and busbar practice across the package, and one delivery to chase instead of four.
ACDB vs DCDB — what is the difference?
The DCDB sits before the inverter and works at the PV string system voltage in DC; the ACDB sits after the inverter and distributes 3-phase AC. They differ in switchgear type, protection philosophy and arc behaviour — DC does not self-extinguish, so DC-rated devices are mandatory.
Because a DC fault arc does not pass through zero, disconnectors, fuses and SPDs on the DC side must be DC-rated for the actual system voltage — an AC device of the same frame is not a substitute. Details of both boards are on the Solar ACDB & DCDB page and the DCDB page.
For battery-coupled plants, the same discipline extends to the PCS interface — covered in our BESS electrical panel design guide.
What should a solar EPC check before ordering combiner boxes and AJBs?
Five things: the DC system voltage the devices are actually rated for, string fuse sizing, SPD type and coordination, enclosure suitability for the mounting location, and cable entry sized for the real cable schedule — most site rework traces back to one of these five.
AJBs live outdoors on structure, so enclosure execution and gland-plate detail matter as much as the electrical BOM. Our AJB page and AC combiner box page list the standard configurations; anything project-specific is built to the EPC’s approved drawing.
For the AC side, feeder protection and metering provisions follow the same IEC 61439 practice as our LT switchboards.
Why buy solar distribution boards from an LT panel manufacturer?
Because a solar ACDB is an LT panel: busbar sizing, temperature rise, form of separation and short-circuit behaviour follow IEC 61439 exactly as in an industrial switchboard — a works that lives by that standard builds a better solar board than a fabricator who only bends enclosures.
The same engineering team that designs our LT panel range and IEC 61439 design-verified panels engineers the solar package, and the boards go through the same inspection and routine-test discipline before dispatch.
That matters most on C&I rooftops, where the solar ACDB ties into an existing LT network and must coordinate with the plant’s switchgear rather than live in isolation.
Does Wisdom Techno Solutions supply solar BOS panels across Gujarat and India?
Yes. The works is at Kotambi, Vadodara — central to Gujarat’s solar corridor — and boards are packed and dispatched to project sites across the state and the rest of India against the EPC’s delivery schedule.
Vadodara’s location keeps road transit short to the major industrial belts, and the standard product range means repeat orders ship against a proven design instead of a fresh engineering cycle each time.
